Terms of Service

chempriq is a price comparison and intelligence platform for the chemical and polymer industry. The platform enables organizations to upload, normalize, compare, and analyze supplier pricing data.

By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

You retain full ownership of all data you upload to chempriq. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your pricing data, supplier information, or any other content you provide.

Strict data isolation: chempriq never shares, exposes, or cross-references pricing data between organizations. Your data is visible only to authorized members of your organization.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Attempt to access data belonging to other organizations
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties

We strive to maintain high platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for temporary unavailability due to technical issues, force majeure, or required maintenance.

To the maximum extent permitted by German law:

• chempriq provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind regarding the accuracy or completeness of market data
• We are not liable for business decisions made based on data displayed on the platform
• Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit) or intentional misconduct (Vorsatz) under German law.

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination:

• You may export your data within 30 days
• After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted
• We may terminate accounts that violate these terms immediately

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these terms is Düsseldorf, Germany.

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
